Scooting around the Internet I found a very interesting case for Marty Supporters to read. If you do a google for: Gentile V County of Suffolk, you will find a case where SCPD cops were accused of misconduct, etc., The plaintiffs in this case were two men that were so abused. This particular case was before the federal courts 2nd Circuit.

Just called the SIC, now the former SIC, so said the telephone message. I hope that when the SIC wrote that letter to me exonerating Spota of wrongdoing, and when they issued the Tankleff Report, it was written on toilet paper. At least it could be useful to someone if they needed to wipe their azz with it. Scott Toilet tissue is getting very expensive lately.

THERE AIN'T ANY FOR 2009. The SIC expires on 3/31/09, unless it is funded. BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG vote of confidence by Gov.Paterson, and Gov. Spitzer before him. Not to worry. I am expecting that the legislature will fund it as there are just too many patronage jobs to give up. That is not to mention the legislature would lose some control of what gets investigated and what does not in that "bi-partisan" sunshine agency of truth.

The article A Bad Trend for Voters by Joye Brown in Newsday was a frustrating read. While she points out the problem with cross endorsing and covers the high profile screw-ups of Spotta, no solutions are brought forward, no call to action. I just feel she should have been more aggressive; she hits with one hand and soothes with the other....
